背景资料


唐永春博士祖籍江苏无锡,1958年出生于中国上海。山西大学化学系七七级本科毕业后赴美国俄亥俄大学攻读研究生,并于1985年获博士学位。1986-1988年间,唐博士在美国哈佛大学进行博士后研究工作,并随后加入雪福龙石油公司担任高级专家及分子模拟研究部门主管。唐博士于1999年创立美国加州理工学院能源与环境研究中心,并担任研究中心主任。同时,唐博士还兼职美国康奈尔大学教授,中国科学院煤炭化学研究所客座教授,中国科学院地化所教授(2003-至今)。作为地球化学,石油工程, 生物及矿务能源领域的国际知名专家,唐博士在国际著名期刊杂志发表高水平论文逾百篇,参与组织多次国际会议,并应邀在众多会议中作学术报告。特别是在地球化学方面,唐博士利用量子化学理论建立了天然气碳及氘同位素动力学分馏理论。其理论目前已经广泛的应用在天然气地球化学领域。在原油氧化及硫化氢形成机理方面,唐博士也提出一系列化学反应机理及动力学模式。目前也已广泛应用在盘地模拟领域。在今年来页岩气的勘探开发领域,唐博士首先解决了同位素翻转现象并开发了页岩气产量预测的理论。目前他也是北美14家大型页岩气公司联合工业项目的首席科家。
唐博士不仅在学术界中享有声誉,在工业界特别是石油业同样具有较高的权威。他现担任多个国际主要石油公司的高级顾问,其中包括:雪佛龙,壳牌,英国石油,埃克森美孚,沙特阿美,康菲石油,意大利埃尼集团,中石油,以及台湾中油公司等。近年来,唐博士所带领的加州理工能源与环境研究中心更成功拓展到包括石油,天然气,煤炭, 生物燃料等多个能源研究领域。2009年,唐博士在美国创立了第一个由华人建立的美国加州能源与环境研究院并担任院长职务。唐永春目前也是国侨办的海外专家咨询委员及中国侨联特聘专家委员。2011年三月唐博士还有海外委员应邀列席参加了全国政协十一大四中全会及人大会议。

 

主要研究方向


主要致力于能源环境的开发利用。 特别是非常规油气田的开发,勘探及生产。提出了一系列有关页岩气的勘探理论,资源评估,及甜点预测。主要涉及到化学,地球化学,化学工程、环境化学、高分子化学、表面化学、界面现象理论模拟、化学反应动力学、生物化学、激光及光学遥感、有机/无机体相互作用研究。具体研究方向包括(1)通过自行开发的分子模型和实验室验证相结合分析材料的分子结构和物理化学性质,以及各种类型高分子材料,表面活性剂等在油田化学方面的应用;(2)低温碳氢活化,及低温甲烷转化;(3)通过同位素分馏动力学以确定天然气的位置、成熟度、运移、成藏条件等;(4)应用新的分子设计理念和量子化学原理设计催化剂;(5)研发量子级联激光器、平面激光诱导荧光以及"嗅探"技术用以解决仪器漂移问题, 提高响应时间,研发高功率紫外激光器的多光谱照相机;(6)低温裂解气体燃料直接转化制碳氢化合物; (7)非常规油气田甜点预测,开发及产量评估 。
