主要研究方向为现代控制理论；飞行力学；飞行器导航、控制与制导；复杂高速机动运动的先进控制技术, 近空间高速飞行动力学与控制的关键科学问题, 卫星轨道机动控制技术。

西北工业大学工学学士，北京理工大学工学博士，清华大学计算机系博士后。

长期在航空部门从事航空航天飞行控制方面的研究和设计工作，主要从事飞行力学、飞行器控制导航、飞行器系统总体等研究与设计工作。2007年5月开始任职于北京大学力学与工程科学系 。主要从事动力学与控制理论，高超声速飞行关键科学问题，飞行器控制与制导、集群与分布式协同控制、机动飞行控制、态势分析与动态博弈等方面的研究。作为项目主持人和主要成员承担并完成了国家重大专项工程课题、国家重点基础研究发展计划课题、自然基金重大研究计划重点项目、自然基金重点项目和面上项目、前沿探索项目、创新特区项目、航空基金项目、教育部重点项目和联合基金项目等数十项。在专业相关领域重要国际期刊发表SCI、EI论文百余篇。曾获航空工业科技成果一等奖、北京大学宝钢优秀教师奖，北京大学-京东方优秀教师奖。

指导和培养博士研究生、硕士研究生、合作博士后二十余名。两名学生入选国家级青年拔尖人才计划。

在教学方面承担了（飞行力学与控制）（航空航天概论）与（高等数学D）、（线性代数与几何）本科生必修课，（飞行力学）、（高超声速飞行建模与控制）、（飞行器导航控制与制导）研究生课程。并获得优秀本科生科研训练导师奖励、优秀班主任奖励。
